LOFT Coder Summit (LCS) Saturday, October 3, 2015

The Hispanic Heritage Foundation is presenting the LOFT Coder Summit which will take place at UCLA.  The summit is in partnership with L.A. Mayor Garcetti's office.  It is a free one-day event featuring workshops and other opportunities.

15th Annual Sigma Xi Student Research Symposium CSUN Chapter of Sigma Xi

Friday April 26, 2013

The CSUN Chapter of Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society, holds its 15th annual student research symposium, with separate sessions for undergraduate and graduate students. Cash awards and certificates of recognition are given to the top presenters in each session. Students in all fields of science (biological, physical, social and behavioral), mathematics, engineering, health science and kinesiology are eligible.

This year's event will take place on Friday, April 26th, 2013. We encourage you to bring this event to the attention of any student who might be interested in presenting. Abstracts need to be submitted to Professor Zakeri (ali.zakeri@csun.edu) by email before 5:00PM Monday, April 22, 2013. The talks will be scheduled every 15 minutes. Students should prepare a talk of no more than 10 minutes. Allow a period of about 3 minutes for questions at the end of the talk. We need judges for this event. Any faculty in the above areas is qualified to be a judge. Faculty who mentor presenters are not eligible for judging.
