Founded in 1950 in the United States, The Society of Women Engineers (better known as SWE) is a not-for-profit educational and service organization. This organization empowers women to achieve their goals within a science, technology, engineering, or math driven career. It is the driving force that establishes these careers to be highly desirable for women. It's important for it establishes and recognizes the achievements that women have within these traditionally male dominated fields.
