Shoorideh Asgari, EMSA President

Shoorideh Asgari received her Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Amir Kabir University of Technology, Iran in 2007. From 2008 to 2010, she worked in Research and Development department of Parsian insurance Co. and designed and developed several systems and processes such as Strategic Planning and Performance Evaluation. She started the Master's in Engineering Management program in spring 2012 at Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Management department of CSUN. She was a student representative at University Student Union Board of Directors and at University Student Union Finance committee in fall 2012 and spring 2013. Currently, she is working on innovation program as a Co-op intern in Engineering Excellence department of Amgen and will graduate in May 2014.

Shamas Tabrez Butt, Vice President

Shamas has done his under grad in electronics and communication engineering and received his degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) in 2011. He was hired as a software engineer for Accenture and worked for a year and a half. His area of expertise is SAP security. His contributions in improving the process flow for the client were appreciated and he was rewarded celebrity points for that. He started Masters in Engineering Management from Fall 2104 and is expected to graduate in Spring 2015.

Anirudh Sharma Peri, EMSA Secretary

Anirudh Sharma Peri has earned a Bachelor's in electrical and electronics engineering in India and received his degree from Osmania university (India) in 2012. Following that, he worked as a transactional risk Managment agent at Amazon.com, Inc. for an year and won the best employee award for 2 quarters . Afterward, he started pursuing a Master's in Engineering Managment starting in the Spring of 2013 and has actively participated in the events conducted by Engineering Managment. He will be graduating with a Master's in May 2014.

Sadegh Khamooshi, EMSA Treasurer

Sadegh Khamooshi earned an Associate's Degree in Movie Directing in Soureh University in 1996. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Theater Acting from Azad University (Iran) in 2000. He worked as a professional journalist in Iran from 1992 to 2008 and got many awards for his reports and articles that published in the media. Sadegh was founder and Vice-chairman of directors of Housing Cooperative Company, member of Iranian Journalists Guild Association from 2003 to 2006. He was Deputy Managing Director and Member of the Board of Directors, "GITY Cultural-Artistic Institute" from 2000 to 2008. Sadegh later moved to the U.S. to continue working in the media. There, he had a live show in some Persian TV. He began working toward a Master's degree in Engineering Management in the Fall of 2102 and is expected to graduate in the Fall of 2014. In the Spring of 2014, Sadegh was nominated for "Best Officer of the Year" from the CSUN Matador Involvement Center for his activities in EMSA.
