The College of Engineering and Computer Science is committed to encouraging students to complete their degree requirements in a timely manner. A Medallion Award Program has been created for all CECS students. There are two types of awards: the Silver Award and the Gold Award. These awards will be granted every year in the fall semester. To apply for the award: fill in the application form (available on line or in the CECS Student Services Center), attach a copy of your unofficial transcript, and submit all materials to the CECS Student Services Center (JD 1501) by the deadline of September 24, 2010

Have you declared your undergraduate major in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management Technology,
Pre-Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering?

Have you completed 25 or more credits toward your major degree and G.E. requirements since Fall 2009 with a minimum 2.00 GPA each term?

If you answered YES to both questions you may be eligible to receive an Academic Progress Achievement Medallion as a reward for your efforts!

The application is available in JD1501 or online at:  http://www.ecs.csun.edu/academic/apama.html  (not available at this time)

You must apply to win.

Medallions will be presented at a special ceremony later in the Fall 2010 semester.
