What is happiness? There is no straightforward answer to this question! Philosophers have been inquiring about happiness since ancient times. Aristotle, when he asked ‘what is the ultimate purpose of human existence’ alluded to the fact that purpose was what he argued to be ‘happiness’. He termed this eudaimonia: “activity expressing virtue” or good moral character. Since then, psychologists and philosophers tried very hard to define the framework to be happy but it does not seem that they had any success! Is it about satisfaction in life or important aspects of life such as health, wealth, relationships?
Christophe Martichon; born 16 October 1975; better known by his stage name Christophe Maé; a French pop singer is going to take us to a journey by his marvelous song "Il est où le bonheur" or " Where is happiness?" and let us know what he thinks is happiness and where we can find it!
