CME-C7Project title:  "Earthquake Protective Pneumatic Foundation "

       The main objective of the research is to evaluate the applicability of a new smart earthquake protective system called a pneumatic foundation to the building construction. The system represents a kind of seismic soil isolation. The research will be accompanied with a shake table testing. The study  is focused on
·  developing basic principles of design & engineering of the pneumatic  foundation
·  validation of a new performance testing procedure called Modal Performance Factor Testing Procedure on the new hardware.
