About Me: My name is Abby Donaldson. I'm a third year Mechanical Engineering student, with hopes to pursue my education into biomedical engineering.
I like Snickers bars, puppies, the color green and being your 2009-2010 SWE Treasurer! It's my job to be organized so, with your help, we can ensure SWE a financially sound future.
Secretary
Rena Tran
rena.tran@gmail.com
My name: Rena Tran
Major: Mechanical Engineer
School status: Super senior
Major status: Junior/Sophomore
About myself: I’m your average kid that didn’t know what to do in life. It started by just a random idea "what does everyone use in common?" The first thought was cars. So I wanted to become an automotive mechanic. It made sense because once I get out of school I'll be guarantee a job! But turns out I found something better. It was mechanical engineering and it was offered at CSUN. There was much more to mechanical engineer (as in job diversity [yay!]) than being a car mechanics. So I decided engineering was a cool subject to look into. After discovering the building and the classes, I needed to get to know some people so my classes would feel a little more fulfilling rather than just going to class and be bored if the subject wasn't so great or be a loner...
I started to join some clubs and BAM, I found SWE. You’ll hear it from others that the engineering major is basically guys. So SWE was a nice way to get to know the other gals in school under the engineering department, but of course the club doesn’t discriminate against guys so I end up networking and finding more new buddies!!
I’m currently a super senior in the academic standing but I’m a junior/sophomore in the engineering major. Sounds old right? Naw.. as long as I keep up the work I'll be done soon =) I hope this interest ya and come on by to say hi

Historian

Sevana Avanessian
sevana.avanessian.12@csun.edu
My name is Sevana Avanessian. I'm a fourth year Mechanical Engineering student, minoring in Writing and Rhetoric, and love the sciences as much as my hobbies of art and music. I love shoes, chocolate, reading, drawing, playing the piano, and listening to Elton John and Queen.
As Historian of SWE 2009-2010, I will be documenting meetings and events beautifully to better remember our past and to help promote SWE to future members. Together, we can preserve SWE’s memories and project ourselves towards a successful future!
Webmaster

Noe Vargas
eonvnoe@gmail.com
My name is Noe Vargas. I am a junior majoring in computer engineering, I love working with computers, navigating the networks, I like to study computer programming, web design, fixing computers hardware and anything that has to do with computers. Some of my favorite hobbies are playing chess and listening to music. I usually listen to rock, rap and music in spanish but I do like little bit of everything except country music.
As the Webmaster of SWE 2009-2010, I will be modifying and updating the SWE website so that everyone can have an easy access and a more efficient way to find what SWE is about, what we do, and the activities that we run. As proud supporter of this organization, it is an honor for me to have the opportunity to help promote engineering among women, therefore I'll try to make this year the best possible for SWE.
