Why Join SWE?

When you join SWE you’re joining more than an organization—you’re joining a movement toward equality and opportunity for women in engineering. Our mission is focused but our impact is vast. We provide the resources you need whether you are beginning, resuming, or building your career. We also encourage creative and intelligent girls at an early age to explore the field of engineering. Through such career development and awareness, we are making significant strides—together

To join SWE, come visit the SWE room we are located in the Jacaranda building, room (JD1567) and pick up an application from the bulletin board or download one from here.

Complete the application and drop it off in our "drop box" in the SWE room.
It will be mailed ASAP.

As a SWE member of the national organization, you are automatically a member of our section. SWE membership is open to all women and men, engineering and computer science students, engineers in all disciplines and non engineers with equivalent engineering experience.

Student membership dues are $15 which include the SWE magazine.

Students member upgrades are $25 (graduated within past 12 months).

Professional membership dues are $75 which include the SWE magazine.

The fiscal year of SWE is July 1 to June 30 of the following year, but enrollment
is open any time.
