The main purpose of the research is a further improvement of the seismic
isolation technology capacity to perform. The study is
focused on:
· developing effective and budgetary technique to verify performance of base isolation devices, · experimental validation of a new performance testing procedure called Modal Performance Factor Testing Procedure on a promising hardware called Consumable Shock Evader. |
| Consumable Shock Evader may be classified as an automatic passive control device with a non-destructive softening ability of low friction sliding bearings of a special design. Analytical and numerical validation of the hardware similar to the proposed for testing has been performed earlier and proved its significant potential technical merits. |
