Oracle Database
Administrator:
As a database administrator youll be
responsible for Installation,
configuration and upgrading of Oracle 11g software and related products,
Establish and maintain sound backup and
recovery policies and procedures as per the policy,
Implement and maintain database security
(create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges),
Perform database tuning and performance
monitoring,
Setup and maintain documentation and
standards,
Work as part of a team and provide 24 X 7 support on demand basis,
Perform general technical trouble shooting
and give consultation to development/QA/Product teams,
Maintaining various db environments such as
dev/qa/staging on a daily basis.
To qualify, you must satisfy at least five
requirements from the below.
1-2 years experience in similar job profile
Proficient on Oracle Fundamentals & Architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, Stored
Procedure
Very good knowledge of Oracle11g & MySql, ASM,
Linux OS, scripting & knowledge of Oracle RAC preferred but not mandatory,
Ability to perform both Oracle, MySql
and operating system performance tuning and monitoring
Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures for Oracle & MySql
Past participation in software product development will be an added plus
MS in CS/CE, but candidates with the right experience will be considered at par
even from other streams.
Good documentation skills
The rate is commensurate with your
