Tools to be Used
in the Assessment:
Conduct a second alumni survey and assessment of our graduates, i.e.,
those who earned a B.S. in computer science from CSUN. The first
alumni survey was conducted, analyzed, and summarized in an Assessment
Report dated October 15, 2007. The ECD
for the Assessment Report for the 2nd
alumni survey is May 2013.
Conduct two employer surveys and assessments of our graduates, i.e., survey
managers/supervisors of CSUN graduates in computer science, both present and in
the recent past. The first employer survey will be
conducted, analyzed, and summarized in an Assessment Report by November 2011. A second
employer survey will be developed in parallel with the above-defined second alumni survey, using an
identical schedule, i.e., the ECD for the Assessment Report for the 2nd employer survey is also May
2013.
