1. Student Learning Outcome: Be able to function effectively on teams to accomplish a common goal

2. Evidence to be Used in the Assessment:

a. Peer Evaluations from students in Comp 380 and Comp 490/490L/491

b. Team Project Presentations in Comp 490/490L/491

3. Assessment Dates 2010 – 2011 and 2011-2012

4. Assessment Activities to be Performed, When and by Whom:

a. Fall 2010. Establish a three member subcommittee to assess teamwork. This subcommittee will be responsible for all of the assessment work below.

b. Fall 2010. Select Key Performance Indicators for the Student Learning Outcome.

c. Review plans for assessing the student teamwork used previously. Revise if needed.

d. Fall 2010. Administer and analyze the peer evaluation surveys.

e. Prepare an assessment summary report for the department including recommendations for program improvement the end of the Spring 2011

f. Repeat 4.c-e in Fall 2011.
