Homework Assignment #5

Objectives: Complete AutoCAD Drawing
This drawing gives you practice creating simple lines and circles while utilizing Grid and Snap. The circles in this drawing have a 0.50 diameter. While snap set to 0.25, the radii are on a snap point. These circles can be drawn easily by dragging the circle out to show the radius or by typing in the diameter.

 

GRID = 0.50
SNAP = 0.25
A good sequence for completing this drawing would be to draw the outer lines first, followed by the inner lines and then the circles.
Notice that all endpoints of all line fall on grid points; therefore they are on a snap point.

Homework problems must be submitted online at mse101access.magee@gmail.com problems must be numbered, and homework documents must be identified by student name and school (for example; Doe, John ACME High School). DO NOT RELY ON YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS TO IDENTIFY WORK YOU SUBMIT.

Each student must turn in his/her own homework. All submissions are to be individual efforts with the exception of the Project reports.

The format for the project design report is available on line. This format is used for the design project in the laboratory. Written reports will be evaluated for compliance to the format requirements, the writing quality, timeliness, and content.
