Homework Assignment #4

Create a Excel File with one embedded Visual Basic Procedure and one Visual Basic Function

  1. You will create a procedure name “Hello” that will be linked to a button. When the button is pressed it will:
    Open a Message Box that Read “Hello World”
    Input the text “Hello World” in cell A3
  2. The Function you will write will input two values x and y. It will determine if 2*x > y^2. If 2x is greater than y^2 then the value of x is returned. If y^2 is greater than 2x then return the value of y. Function Name “WhichNum”.

Save file as a Excel Macro Enable file.

Homework Submission Details

Homework problems must be submitted online at mse101access.magee@gmail.com problems must be numbered, and homework documents must be identified by student name and school (for example; Doe, John ACME High School). DO NOT RELY ON YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS TO IDENTIFY WORK YOU SUBMIT.

Each student must turn in his/her own homework. All submissions are to be individual efforts with the exception of the Project reports.

The format for the project design report is available on line. This format is used for the design project in the laboratory. Written reports will be evaluated for compliance to the format requirements, the writing quality, timeliness, and content.
